What Esther 5:11 means
Haman begins to rehearse his greatness—parading his wealth, his many children, and the heights to which the king has elevated him above other officials. It is a catalog of status meant to impress and reassure himself. In his mouth, blessings become trophies. The emphasis on children and promotion reflects values of the empire: legacy and rank. Yet the recital also exposes a vacuum within; accumulation has not given him peace. The verse invites reflection on how outward prosperity, without humility, can inflame pride and make a person fragile to the smallest slight.

Context
This boasting follows Haman’s calculated gathering of his inner circle in verse 10. The list prepares for the twist in verse 13: despite everything, he still feels empty while Mordecai sits unbowed. Verse 12 will add one more jewel to his crown—the queen’s private banquet invitation—heightening the irony that even unique honors cannot satisfy him.
v.10Nevertheless Haman refrained himself, and went home; and he sent and fetched his friends and Zeresh his wife.
v.11This passage
v.12Haman said moreover, Yea, Esther the queen did let no man come in with the king unto the banquet that she had prepared but myself; and to-morrow also am I invited by her together with the king.
