What Acts 15:30 means

The envoys returned to Antioch, gathered the congregation, and delivered the letter. The public reading ensures transparency and shared understanding. Antioch had been the flashpoint of the controversy; now it becomes the first recipient of the council’s Spirit-guided resolution. This open communication models good church practice—important decisions are shared with the whole body, not kept among leaders only. The delivery of the decree brings the authority of the united church to bear, calming fears and clarifying the way forward for mixed congregations of Jews and Gentiles.
