3TheGod of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me, The ruler among men shall be just, Ruling in the fear ofGod;

3The God of Israel said to me, the strong one of Israel spoke, the ruler of men, the just ruler in the fear of God.

4And [he shall be] as the light of the morning, [like] the rising of the sun, A morning without clouds; [When] from the sunshine, after rain, The green grass springeth from the earth.

4As the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, shineth in the morning without clouds, and as the grass springeth out of the earth by rain.

4He shall beas the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, A morning without clouds, Whenthe tender grassspringeth out of the earth, Through clear shining after rain.

5Although my house be not so beforeGod, Yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, Ordered in every way and sure; For [this is] all my salvation, and every desire, Although he make [it] not to grow.

5Neither is my house so great with God, that he should make with me an eternal covenant, firm in all things and assured. For he is all my salvation, and all my will: neither is there ought thereof that springeth not up.

5Verily my house is not so with God; Yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, Ordered in all things, and sure: For it is all my salvation, and allmydesire, Although he maketh it not to grow.

6But [the sons] of Belial [are] all of them as thorns thrust away, Because they cannot be taken with hands;

6But transgressors shall all of them be plucked up as thorns: which are not taken away with hands.

6But the ungodly shall be all of them as thorns to be thrust away, Because they cannot be taken with the hand;

7And the man that will touch them provideth himself with iron and the staff of a spear; And they shall be utterly burned with fire in [their] place.

7And if a man will touch them, he must be armed with iron and with the staff of a lance: but they shall be set on fire and burnt to nothing.

7But the man that toucheth them Must be armed with iron and the staff of a spear: And they shall be utterly burned with fire in their place.
