1In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.

35However, the local shrines were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense at those high places. Jotham was the one who rebuilt the Upper Gate of the Lord’s Temple.
