Based in South Africa · contributing since 2024

Mohau Tshabangu is the founder and lead editor of Devine Scripture. He is a South African Bible and theology scholar whose work focuses on making the historic Christian reading of Scripture accessible to everyday readers — without watering it down and without forcing it into a single denominational box.

His personal study began in his teens through a small Pentecostal congregation outside Johannesburg, and broadened over a decade of independent theology study, working with pastors and teachers across Reformed, Wesleyan, Anglican, and charismatic traditions. That cross-traditional habit shapes how every page on this site is written: where serious Christians have read a verse different ways for centuries, both readings get a hearing.

Mohau personally writes the chapter introductions, devotionals, topical answers, and word studies published here, and reviews every page before it goes live. Editorial corrections and theological questions reach him directly at info@devinescripture.com.
